Alser BM Puerto Sagunto draw in their first pre-season friendly
In the opening minutes of the match, the red-and-whites set out to make a good impression in front of their supporters in their first pre-season match at the “Ovni”. The first half could not have started better for the hosts: after 15 minutes they were already ahead on the scoreboard (6–3), thanks to some fine saves from an inspired Bruixola, a very strong defence and the effective attack of the red-and-whites. From the 20th minute, the team from Cuenca managed to reduce the red-and-whites’ three-goal lead and moved to within one goal (8–7). Despite this, Alser went into half-time ahead (11–09), showing good effectiveness in both defence and attack.
