Fertiberia schedule two friendlies for the winter pre-season
Fertiberia Balonmano Puerto Sagunto began its winter pre-season last Monday in preparation for a strong start to the second half of the season on 5 February at home against Liberbank Ciudad Encantada. The players are completing double training sessions with a heavy physical workload, and two friendlies have been scheduled. The first will take place on 17 January in Belmonte against Cuenca, while the second will be on Thursday, 23 January, at 20:15 at the Ovni against Granollers. Two fixtures against high-ranking opponents to arrive in February aiming to secure survival.
Óscar García finishes second with the Hispanos Junior in the Four Nations
Puerto Sagunto player Óscar García has successfully concluded the Four Nations Tournament with the Hispanos Junior. The Spanish national under-21 handball team faced France, Portugal and Germany. In their first match against France, they secured a 26–26 draw. Against hosts Portugal, they achieved a 28–22 victory. In the final match, they were unable to beat Germany (29–26).
