Fertiberia Balonmano Puerto Sagunto reach the final regular-season match with their homework done. Mathematically in second place, they will therefore host the promotion phase to Asobal at the Ovni. Tomorrow they face their final División de Honor Plata match of the season away to Zamora. Much will depend on the result of this match, including who their opponent will be in the phase semi-final. If Zamora win, they will be Nogués’ side’s first opponents in the phase. If Zamora lose and Antequera win, the Andalusians will qualify for the play-off. A three-way tie on points between Antequera, Zamora and Cisne is still possible, in which case the Galicians would progress on goal difference. On Saturday at 7 p.m., we will have the answers.
