How and when did you start playing handball? I started at the age of 12. I played football, but they took me to the children's handball team. I was so excited that I decided to give up football and devote myself more to handball.

As a child, what sports did you play, and how did your interest in handball arise? I played football, pelota, snowboarding... Any sport involving a ball!

Did you have idols, players you wanted to emulate? Not idols as such, but role models, yes; I have always liked Dragan Skrbic and Aitor Etxaburu a lot, and I was lucky enough to have the latter as a team-mate and coach.

Who will win the league? I think Ciudad Real.

What do you do when you are not playing handball? I like spending time with friends and family, going to the cinema, going out for drinks....

What is your happiest memory? As far as handball is concerned, making my debut at the Palau with Bidasoa against Barça. Personally, the many afternoons I spent with my brother and father playing hide-and-seek and tag in the hallway of my house.

What three things would you take to a desert island? A beer, a Swiss Army knife and the internet! Heheh

What is playing on your iPod? Rock. Fito y los Fitipaldis, Platero, Ricardo Arjona, Basque music.... I like more or less all this kind of music; in fact, I have a bit of everything. As long as it plays nice and loud.
