Alser bids farewell to the season

Last Friday, the end-of-season gala was held at the Marblau Halls, with more than 200 people gathering to bring the Alser BM Puerto Sagunto season to a close in its year of returning to Liga ASOBAL. The event was attended by the mayor of Sagunto, Alfredo Castelló; the new Sports Councillor, Sergio Muniesa; Jordi Pallares, Asobal general manager; Julian Castelblanque, general manager of Alser, the club’s main sponsor; representatives of the various companies that support the club; members of the city’s political parties; representatives of the Marea Rojiblanca supporters’ club; some members of the squad; and the coaching staff, headed by assistant coach Alberto Estornell

Various commemorative plaques were presented, along with a DVD featuring the most interesting moments of the entire season. One of the plaques was presented to Marea Rojiblanca supporters’ club representatives Javi Gallen and Florentino Serrano for their great support from the stands throughout the season

At dinner we enjoyed the company of a player who helped us gain promotion to Liga Asobal last year, Marko Ostic, who is enjoying a holiday in Valencia with his family

The evening was filled with wonderful, moving memories
