Cronista Chabret School hosts the first School Handball Festival of the year

Cronista Chabret School hosted this afternoon, from 17:30 to 19:00, the first School Handball Festival organised by the red-and-white club in the new year. The event was attended by Sagunto Town Council deputy mayor Sergio Muniesa, accompanied by councillors Ximo Catalán and Paco Villar; the general coordinator of sport in schools, Manolo Ripollés; the club president, Juanjo Bataller; and also the president of BM Morvedre, Miguel Ángel Alegría, the school’s headteacher, María José Martínez, as well as players from the Fertiberia BM Puerto Sagunto first team, Michael Apelgren, José Manuel García Moriñigo ‘Pocholo’ and Toni Alegre, together with the BM Morvedre players. More than 100 athletes from 12 of the school handball under-12 groups attended the festival, enjoying an afternoon of handball, fun and friendship.
