Fertiberia Balonmano Puerto Sagunto opts for data analysis

At the end of this August, Fertiberia Balonmano will hold the first edition of ‘Curso Análisi’, a course dedicated to data analysis in the world of handball.

Through this initiative, the club’s elite team aims to advance the professionalisation of the sport and fully enter a rapidly growing field such as Big Data.

The course will be delivered by Anselmo Ruiz de Alarcón Quintero, who is also joining the first-team coaching staff for the 2025-2026 season. He is a new addition with a degree in Sports Science and experience as an analyst for football and handball clubs and national teams.

He will deliver the course by presenting his statistical method and providing all participants with the tools to develop the material covered.

The course will take place at the Port de Sagunt Sports Hall on 30 August (morning and afternoon) and 31 August (morning). The course fee is 100 euros, payable to CLUB BALONMANO PUERTO SAGUNTO, account number ES86 0081 0318 1100 0207 2115.
