Fertiberia Handball have completed their first week of pre-season, packed with physical work and tactical work on court. Regarding Saturday’s match, Malla explains: ‘This Saturday we face the match with great enthusiasm and a strong desire for all the work we have done so far to come through on court. The result does not matter to us; for now, it is about building, ensuring that the objectives are achieved, and drawing conclusions from there. I think we are on the right track in every respect: physically, tactically and in terms of team spirit.’

Their first competitive match will be on 28 August at the Ovni. It will be the semi-final of the Generalitat Cup against the other Valencian División de Honor Plata team, EON BM Alicante. If the red-and-whites win this match, they will face Benidorm away on 4 September, aiming to lift the Comunitat Cup.

Membership card renewals continue

Membership cards for next season can be collected from the club headquarters from Monday to Friday, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. They will not be handed out at matches because of the pandemic situation. Last year’s members will be able to collect theirs and will also receive a discount for having been members; identification is required.
