Fertiberia renews Sagunto winger Toni Alegre

BM Puerto Sagunto announces that Sagunto winger Toni Alegre will remain for another season. Luckily, just before the pandemic began I bought a bike trainer, and with that and the equipment I had at home—resistance bands, cones, some weights and so on—I was able to do plenty of varied training. I’m also going out running now, and that really makes a difference.’

‘I don’t know what next season will bring, as there is uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, but I hope we can have a normal season. I think our objective remains the same, and even more so, I believe both my teammates and I would like to achieve it on the court and with our supporters.’ Alegre added regarding what the new Asobal league will be like.

Regarding the squad being assembled for this season, the Sagunto winger said: ‘To be honest, I see a fairly balanced team based on what I’ve discussed with the teammates who know the new arrivals. Then it’s like a puzzle: you have the pieces, but you have to fit them together perfectly so that everything moves in the same direction and we can secure survival as soon as possible, knowing that it will be a tough but exciting season.’
