What is surprising is that, having invested money, the council still finds itself in the same situation—or worse—because four years have passed. In the end, it is a matter of management: showing determination and getting it done. If we enter government, we will improve the project so that it meets the requirements for a top-tier sports hall. We are committed to this and, if we come to power, we will do it”.

Sergio also stressed that the policy of growing the youth system and working with young people must continue: “When I was sports councillor, I emphasised having a youth system and developing local boys. The Balonmano Morvedre girls are an example of this. Improving facilities and the academy is fundamental, and it is included in our programme”.
