Fertiberia BM Puerto Sagunto continues to pursue new initiatives that connect them ever more closely with the society around them. In this case, after consolidating their photography exhibition, they are now entering the world of literature. To do so, they want to use a very fashionable literary form, the short story, naturally focused on handball.
This is how they have just launched their first Short Story Competition, open to people of all backgrounds and ages, who can use 40 lines to write whatever handball in general and the club in particular inspire in them through their imagination and artistic talent.
Entries are open until 15 April, and the winners will receive Fertiberia passes as well as sports equipment from the team. The prize-giving ceremony will also take place in a special setting, as the red-and-white club has decided to announce the jury’s verdict, delivered by people connected with the board and handball, at the league match in which Fertiberia will host the League champions, FC Barcelona. The winners will take the ceremonial kick-off and receive the applause of the 1,500 spectators. A literary competition does not always have so many guests at its prize-giving ceremony.
