Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto do not want to stop promoting handball, even in summer. The red-and-white club has planned its first Locos del Balonmano 2016 Camp from 26 June to 3 July, organised by their sporting director Antonio Sario, in the town of Teruel Mora de Rubielos for boys and girls born between 2000 and 2007.
The main aim of this “Camp” is to promote socialising, camaraderie and healthy habits, as well as enjoying and making the most of free time with handball as a means of bringing people together. It will also involve activities in the enviable natural surroundings of Mora de Rubielos, with the collaboration of Mora de Rubielos Town Council, Gúdar-Javalambre Comarca, Hotel La Rueda and various local businesses, as well as the assistance and collaboration of the Valencian Community Handball Federation.
Accommodation is planned at the “La Rueda” hotel, located in the town a short distance from the sports facilities and equipped with activity rooms for children, a swimming pool and sports courts. The kitchen is the heart of the hotel, preparing homemade food in the traditional way with exquisite flavour.
The programme of activities planned for the Camp is extensive and based on recreational activities related to handball, excursions, workshops and crafts, night games and activities in nature.
All of this is delivered by highly qualified instructors: graduates in Physical Activity Sciences, Level III and II handball coaches, sports animation technicians and Asobal League players.
The activity costs €350, including accommodation, meals and a complimentary ticket to a Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto match at the Ovni. There are 10% discounts for members, registered school players and siblings. Payment may be split into two instalments.
