Fertiberia Balonmano Puerto Sagunto began their 2025–2026 División de Honor Plata Masculina campaign with a 28–24 victory over BM Proin Sevilla at the Port de Sagunt Pavilion.

The match began with three successive counter-attack goals from Antonio Capitán, followed by a couple of saves from Dani Martínez in goal.
