Following ASOBAL’s publication of the official fixture list, Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto now know their schedule for the 37th NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL League season in 2026-27, when the club return to the top tier of Spanish handball during their 75th anniversary year.

 

The opening matchday will take place over the weekend of 12 and 13 September, with exact dates and times still to be confirmed. The red-and-whites will begin their return to the division at home, hosting ABANCA Ademar León at the Port de Sagunt Arena.

 

Their second fixture, one week later, will also be at home, against Fraikin BM Granollers. The draw means the Port side will alternate between runs of two home matches and two away matches from the beginning to the end of the campaign.

 

Among the other key dates, the Valencian side will host reigning champions Barça on matchday 13 and visit the Palau Blaugrana on matchday 28, the third-to-last round of the championship.

 

The first of the two Valencian Community derbies against Horneo EÓN Alicante will come early, on matchday five of the regular season in Valencia. The return fixture, on matchday 20, will be played at the Pitiu Rochel arena in Alicante.

 

As at the start of the championship, Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto will also bring their NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL League campaign to a close in front of their supporters over the weekend of 5 and 6 June. They will host BM Caserío Ciudad Real on matchday 30.
