Pau Guitart will guard Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto’s goal

One of the new faces this season is Pau Guitart, born in 1996, who is 1.80 metres tall and weighs 80 kg; he will guard Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto’s goal this year. He comes from Unió Esportiva Sarrià, who currently play in the silver honour division, where he has stood out this year.

“I was confined for two weeks, but the club gave us the opportunity to collect some equipment, and I was able to do some exercise in the garage.”, he tells us about the pandemic.

Regarding Bruixola: “I am not coming to replace Bruixola; he is a goalkeeping role model. I watched the matches from the promotion phase, and what he saves is incredible. My aim is to learn, develop, help the team, achieve our objectives and make a name for myself. For me, this is an opportunity to grow, and without Bruixola I have more chances to play some minutes.”

And he wants to send this message to his new supporters: “I ask the supporters for patience and, above all, good health. And I ask them to trust the team, which will certainly fight for its objectives and make it a very enjoyable year.”
