Squad and new kits unveiled with the aim of returning to the top flight

Fertiberia Balonmano Puerto Sagunto unveiled the first-team squad (including the new signings) and its new kits from Italian brand Erreà this evening at Terraet del Triángulo Umbral.

With the aim of returning to the top tier of Spanish handball, the Liga Nexus Energía ASOBAL, the red-and-whites, managed by Toni Malla and featuring the new arrivals (Juani Villarreal, Jakob Pelko, Alex Pozzer, Alberto Serradilla, Nicolás Zungri, Carlos Martín de Bolaños Ruiz and Oriol Teixidor), were presented to the club’s other youth teams and the supporters attending the event.

The event also served to unveil the club’s new kits for the 2025–2026 season. The outfits are made by Erreà, which this season has become the club’s new official technical sponsor and is responsible for designing and making the kits for both the first team and all the youth teams, as well as their respective coaching staffs, for the next four seasons.

Regarding the kits, both David Ramón, the sports brand’s CEO in Spain, and Emolio Poyato, CEO of branding agency HEFE (responsible for designing the back of the playing shirts), spoke to provide further details.

Both shirts follow the same pattern: the first retains the club’s characteristic red and white colours, while the second combines different shades of green. It is worth noting that one of our new sponsors, BYD Atursa, appears on the front. On the back, one of the town’s most representative monuments, the Altos Hornos, features alongside the club’s founding year (1951), while Ingelev appears as a sponsor on the shorts.

Subsequently, Diego Olba, captain of the División de Honor Plata squad, and the coach, Toni Malla, addressed the supporters. They were joined by the club president, Carlos Argente, and the mayor of Sagunto, Darío Moreno.

To round things off, a video reflecting our history, captured on the new shirts, was shown for the first time. The content can already be viewed on our social media and was produced by Alejandro Bermúdez and Pepa Conesa.

On the sporting front, we remind you that the final friendly will take place this coming Friday the 5th at the Pabellón Port de Sagunt, with free admission (against Balonmano Servigroup Benidorm from 20:00), before the official competition begins the following weekend against BM Proin Sevilla.

From 19:00, beforehand, supporters will be able to continue signing up to the membership campaign under the slogan “Red-and-white passion, destination ASOBAL”.
