Port de Sagunt Arena ready for the ASOBAL promotion tournament

The Port de Sagunt Arena will host the División de Honor Plata promotion tournament for a place in the Nexus Energía ASOBAL League on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May. Hosts Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto will organise the event.

Both semi-finals take place on Saturday. Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto face Anaitasuna at 6.00 pm, followed by UBU San Pablo Burgos 2031 against Fundación Agustinos Alicante at 8.30 pm. The winners meet in Sunday’s 12.30 pm final.

Alongside the sport, the club is preparing dozens of experiences for supporters. El Chapuzón will expand its food and drink service, while the Fan Zone will feature a ten-piece brass band from 4.00 to 6.00 pm, during intervals and between matches.

Before the opening match there will be saxophone entertainment and face painting from 5.00 pm. Activities also include raffles, magic tricks, sponsor activations, shooting contests at half-time, giveaways during timeouts and a table for making banners in support of the players.
